Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific will partner with Atlas Converting Equipment for the supply of Titan slitter rewinders after signing a preferred vendor agreement in April.

The companies say the move, designed to support Amcor Flexibles rapid growth throughout Asia, will see the companies work together to leverage each other’s experience and commitment to innovation and technology.

The agreement, signed by Wunderlich and Atlas Converting Equipment managing director Alan Johnson, provides standard machine specifications and options, together with an optimised and simplified process for ordering, delivery, installation and commissioning.
Johnson says, “As the largest flexible converter in the Asia Pacific region, Amcor’s choice to appoint Atlas Converting as their preferred vendor is a win for us and no doubt this relationship will strongly benefit both partners.”
So far this year, Amcor has ordered four Titan slitter rewinders as part of the agreement, which will include quarterly reviews to monitor progress.
Wunderlich concludes, “We are very pleased to be partnering with Atlas and are confident that with their global reach and expertise we will be well supported throughout Asia Pacific to continue to deliver the safest, most innovative packaging solutions to our customers.”
