Nakata takes over as Konica Minolta India MD

Konica Minolta has appointed Yuji Nakata as the new managing director of Konica Minolta India.

V Balakrishnan, executive general manager for Konica Minolta India, says, “Mr. Yuji Nakata has played a significant part through strategic and operational areas of Konica Minolta for many years now and has done an exemplary job as chief representative, Minolta Beijing Office. His visionary approach first as managing director, Konica Minolta Hong Kong and later as managing director, Konica Minolta Shenzhen, China, helped in consolidating the brand’s dominance in those markets.”

Nakata (pictured above) has replaced Tadahiko Sumitani who has assumed a new role as the global sales head in Japan HQ.
