Graph-Pak managing director Tom Ralph was a busy man at Ipex, with half a dozen of his principals exhibiting, including Autobond.
Centre stage on the Autobond stand was the one pass laminate and spot UV system, driven straight from digital file.

Ralph says, “The Autobond Mini 36 TP Digital laminates one or two sides, then applies spot UV, all in one pass. It can also apply a magnetic backing in the one pass. This new version has pinning lamps to improve the registration.” It is aimed at both commercial printers and trade printers.
According to Ralph more than 80 Autobond laminators have been installed into Australia in the past seven years, with the Autobond Ipex stand hosting the best seller, the Mini 76, which laminates SRA4 to A1 size at 60 metres a minute single or double sided.
Ralph also announced his Azon agency has appointed a new full time manager in Hana Skopel, who until now has been with Azon it its native Croatia.
