Industry consumables and equipment supplier Jet Technologies is relocating to new premises in Rosebery, near Sydney Airport, with a purpose-built site promising greater working collaboration and internal efficiencies.
The most anticipated feature of the new site is a 400sqm demonstration and training area, where clients will be able to familiarise themselves with machines. Jack Malki, director, says “At the moment we’ve got a demo area but it’s rather small and not really designed for the equipment that we need to demonstrate.
“This is a large space, full height; it’ll be good for training. We’d consider it to be one of the better demo areas in the country when it’s finished. We expect to have our UV inkjet in there later this year,” Malki adds.
The new facility will also include an ink lab with updated equipment, which Malki, says will improve the company’s processes in making and checking various products that are sent out to clients.
Malki says, “The new site makes us a more efficient company, and that will benefit our customers. We have a lot of products that we stock and distribute, so more space and more advanced racking, higher racking, means we’re better able to store and distribute product in a faster manner. So that means quicker turnaround in urgent instances.”
The move is planned for the third week of September.
