Snap launches mobile website comp

Franchise print chain Snap is continuing to drive its non-print services, launching a competition to win a mobile website designed by a local Snap store.

Fifty lucky businesses will win the opportunity to reach clients through their phones with a mobile-friendly website – increasingly important as customers come to expect well-structured sites that are easy to navigate on a smartphone. A site optimised for mobile promises to create an easier path to purchase for businesses, and ensures customers are not rage quitting thanks to clunky layouts and slow loading times.

smartphones_cropRaeleen Hooper, general manager of franchise services with Snap, tells Australian Printer, “The demand from Australian businesses for high quality web assets has never been greater, and we’re happy to be able to provide this alongside the other Snap services they may already be using.

“Some 95 per cent of people now access the internet via their phone, so it is important that businesses have a mobile friendly website.”

Snap is no stranger to a contest; last year a competition to win a trip to Singapore saw its website traffic double. The franchise network has gone for a more services-oriented approach this time, which it hopes will help its franchisees to promote the portfolio of web services available from Snap centres.

Hooper says, “As part of our business transformation strategy, we have a keen focus on print, but also on design and websites too. We have expanded our promotions to include a wider spectrum of the services offered by Snap. Mobile is on everyone’s mind, and we hope that this one is a hit with our clients.”

Entries close on March 31, with winners to be contacted on April 14.
