May 14
Sydney, NSW
Hosted by the AIP, the half-day training course will provide attendees with an overview of important considerations relating to packaging, labelling and Intellectual Property law.
Organisers say it will be an interactive session that will also provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss legal packaging and IP concerns that arise in their own businesses.
Presenter Sharon Givoni, IP lawyer, will unwrap the detailed and complex regulations of labelling in Australia – some laws are mandatory, some voluntary. Attendees will workshop the issues they need to be aware of when designing packaging and labelling, protecting it from a legal perspective and staying within the boundaries of the law, especially when making packaging claims
The course will also consider how to protect your IP including the way packaging looks, brand names and instructions.
