Legal packaging technical dinner

May 14

Sydney, NSW

Gwen Blake, managing director of Boxer & Co, and Sharon Givoni, intellectual property lawyer, will present at a legal-focused AIP technical dinner.

Blake says there are a plethora of considerations for packaging designers to bear in mind to make sure that keep out of legal hot water – from the logo to imagery, to any claims or product benefits promised on the pack.

She will take participants on a journey to create a piece of packaging on the night, keeping on top of the legal requirements along the way.

Givoni says there are many questions people in the industry may have about how to protect their intellectual property – your brand, shape, the way it folds and even the colour (for example, a Tiffany & Co blue box).

Her presentation aims to be interactive to allow for audience participation with takeaway checklists to use within their business directly.
