Pitney Bowes  software  drupa  printing - digital  transpromo  mailing

The Pitney Bowes stand at drupa will give visitors first-hand experience of the end-to-end solutions that are enabling customers to drive maximum value and maximum quality through their print, mail and digital communications operations.

Visitors will see how today’s messages can build on past interactions to drive detailed personalisation, delivered via the recipient’s channel of choice.

This end-to-end capability will be demonstrated using two transactional applications that utilise the latest Pitney Bowes technology. The efficiencies of an offset shell replacement strategy will be shown in the form of a simple electricity bill featuring limited colour. This application demonstrates a starting point for the ‘White Paper Factory concept – where pre-printed stock is replaced with the means to print every job on blank paper and white envelopes. Basic applications of this kind are particularly attractive for customers looking for ways to begin reducing costs and driving revenue.

Additionally, stand visitors will be shown the dynamic impact of highly personalized transpromo messaging in the form of a mobile phone bill. This application will be printed in full colour, demonstrating the high print quality, productivity and effectiveness of the IntelliJet 20 and taking the White Paper Factory concept further.

The two applications will be comingled into a single production job to show how postal and production savings can be realised with a significant return n investment. Pitney Bowes’ latest DFWorks White Paper Factory software enables these comingled jobs to be tracked and reported on separately, a key requirement for businesses looking to achieve best-level job efficiency and integrity.

Both applications will be finished using the new Mailstream Wrapper which ‘wraps’ the printed document rather than using envelopes. Each wrap will match the printed content with the addition of a simple logo for the electricity bill application and a targeted, personalised message for the transpromo phone bill.

Other on-stand technology includes:

Rival Productivity Series – the latest Pitney Bowes inserter demonstrating closed-loop reprint, swift job-changeover capabilities for improving productivity while offering a 20-30 per cent reduction in footprint; Reliant Sorting Solution – which provides sorting automation efficiencies in a small footprint for small-to-medium sized public and private posts and is the newest addition to Pitney Bowes’ mail sortation portfolio; P/I OfficeMail – Pitney Bowes’ hybrid mail solution, featuring both physical and digital mail delivery; Pitney Bowes Software – demonstrating solutions including geocoding, location intelligence, predictive analytics and CRM; and Connect+ franking machine and the Digital Envelope and Document Printer – the latest mailing technology for small-to-medium sized enterprises enabling full colour messaging.

Pitney Bowes’ Mailstream Productivity Series 26K inserter will be shown with the new 4”-17” Input Channel for continuous forms processing improving application flexibility while reducing cost and maintaining maximum productivity. The application will also feature the Print+ Messenger printing a company logo, postage indicia, address and a variable image on the front of the envelope. The Print+ Messenger is an integral component of the White Paper Factory, transforming everyday white business envelopes into high-impact, full colour communications that grab attention and drive revenue.

A second lounge area will showcase Pitney Bowes’ Volly secure digital delivery service, a cloud-based digital mail communications platform that will empower consumers to receive, view, and manage bills, statements, direct marketing, catalogues, coupons and other content from multiple providers using a single application.

Pitney Bowes says its Volly secure digital delivery service will enable large volume mailers and service bureaus and national posts to help grow their business and provide a multi-channel communications experience.
