HP has targeted Sign shops, fast turnaround outfits and small to medium printers with the release of its Latex 300 printer series.
Craig Simmons, product manager at Jenrite, says, the new range includes three new models, starting with the entry level 1370mm wide Latex 310 through to the fully featured 1625mm wide Latex 360. He says, “These printers will expand a Sign company’s or print shop’s large-format capabilities
with incredible ease of use and the most durable inks in its class.”
“The HP Latex technology is tried and proven. This latest series offers a range of great features and benefits at an affordable price. By making use of third generation HP Latex ink technology with the Latex 300, low-volume customers can handle outdoor and indoor applications, with better durability and image quality on an even wider range of media than ever before. They’re also fast, with greatly improved startup time and printing speeds roughly double that of the previous model.”
Jeremy Brew, HP South Pacific sign and display application specialist, says the HP Latex technology can print on any media with “nearly unlimited” applications.
