Roland DG appoints new service manager

Wide format vendor Roland DG has appointed Stephen Lane to the role of service manager, prior to the roll out of the new Roland DG Care programme.

Lane has been in this field for 19 years, including roles as a technician through to senior technician and technical services manager, and has also worked in sales positions throughout his career.

Jake Higgins, marketing team leader, says, “His experience is vast and exactly what this role needs.

“He will be managing the whole service network including Roland technicians and nationwide authorised third party service agents.”

The aim of the Roland DG Care programme is to enhance customer focus and increase customer satisfaction.

John Wall, president and director of Roland DG,  says, “Lane is the perfect fit for this role.”

In celebration of the roll out of their new program and newly appointed service manager Roland DG is offering existing customers a free upgrade for Roland VersaUV inkjet printer owners.

Wall says, “In appreciation of our VersaUV customers’ continued loyalty and support, we are pleased to provide a substantial upgrade for free.”

Printers included in the upgrade include the LEF series benchtop flatbed printers, LEC series printer/cutters and the LEJ-640 hybrid flatbed printer.

According to Roland DG the objective of this upgrade roll out is to enable current customers the chance to lower their running costs and enjoy more reliable and enhanced performance.
