Heiner Müller, recently named executive sales director at CGS

CGS Publishing Technologies has announced the appointment of Heiner Müller as executive sales director for Europe and the Middle East. Müller brings a high level of industry knowledge and sales expertise to CGS. Since 1980, he has worked extensively with pioneering prepress technology companies, including Krause, IRIS Graphics and Scitex.Immediately prior to his appointment at CGS, Müller was director of sales and marketing for GMG GmbH & Co and before that, he had been business development manager and then international sales director for Dalim Software in Kehl, Germany.
The strength of the ORIS color workflow products was a key factor in Müller’s decision to join CGS. “Today’s customers are not looking for isolated proofing products any more, but for a complete colour workflow solution, automating all aspects of colour management,” he says. “The CGS product portfolio is ideally suited to answer these needs, and I am excited to be working in such a dynamic environment in the future.”

Müller will be responsible for overseeing business development and sales within CGS’ growing network of ORIS resellers and system integrators throughout Europe and the Middle East. He will also work with resellers and customers implementing the award-winning ORIS Color Tuner proofing environment, as well as CGS’ new integrated soft proofing, enterprise-level proofing management and high-end ORIS workflow systems.
