Russell Joyce, currently VP and general manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America, is to succeed Ewald Draaijer as president of narrow web ink company, XSYS Print Solutions, a member of the Flint Group. Draaijer is leaving XSYS after eight years as president and general manager to pursue other activities. During his tenure, Ewald led the division's expansion into new markets through strong organic growth, a couple of JV's and an acquisition.
He has been instrumental in creating a global presence and in building XSYS Pint Solutions into a market leader.
"It has been a fantastic time, but it is time for me to pursue other activities," asys Draaijer.
"I'm most proud of the team of entrepreneurial and innovative people I've had the benefit of being part of. We have created a truly global team which provides unequalled local technical support that constantly drives the business by providing immediate answers to our customer’s problems.
"The focus and dedication of our people plays an important role in the responsiveness we offer our customers. Russell began in the ink industry in 1991 in England. He joined the ANI narrow web group in 1997 and has held both technical and market development roles since.
"He has been instrumental in the continued growth of the XSYS business in his region and under his leadership, the group’s market share has grown substantially," concludes Draaijer.
