Registrations are now open for the international WAN-IFRA Printing Summit

Registrations are now open for the international WAN-IFRA (World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers) Printing Summit which will take place on March 19-20, 2013 at the German port city of Hamburg.

There will be speakers from a variety of countries that will bring their first-hand experiences of the issues which matter most to those involved in newspaper production.

Printing Summit 2013 will present a global perspective on the issues that matter to the present newspaper production industry with speakers from Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Japan, Kenya, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and the USA.

During two days, the presentations will showcase to the audience aspects of innovation as well as the best use of the latest newspaper printing technology and cover a variety of topics including: Printing process innovations; Designing for success; Business and innovation; Less energy, fewer emissions; The power of print; Digital printing.

The duration of break time has increased for 2013 to give the audience more chances to network and exchange ideas.

There are plans to visit to the Axel Springer printing plant in Ahrensburg, one of the largest in Europe.
