50 years of Fasson ideas showcased at LabelExpo The recently concluded Labelexpo Singapore 2004 show coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Fasson brand for Avery Dennison Corporation.

So it is only natural that the company’s theme for this year’s show was "Fifty Years of Ideas." Attendees at Labelexpo Singapore 2004, were able to learn more about how this historic milestone reflects on 50 years of innovation in the pressure-sensitive industry.

Visitors to booth C10 experienced a range of developments for the narrow-web community. Avery Dennison displayed products, technologies, and information on such emerging topics as:

Global Co-Ex Film
Visitors were able to discover how consumer product marketers can gain a strong competitive advantage with a single prime-labeling product that can deliver optimal convertibility as well as on-container clarity and conformability. Fasson Global Co-Ex incorporates polymer blending, co-extrusion, machine-direction orientation (MDO) and cross-direction conformability into its design. The result is an optimum blend of converting, dispensing and on-container performance.

RFID
Visitors were also able to learn how Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies enhance the way businesses collect, manage and use information throughout the labeling value chain.

Evolving-Market Portfolio
Visitors experienced the latest developments for evolving markets including: tube labeling, functional labeling, durables labels and non-adhesive packaging opportunities.
