Adkote picks up Australian NUR agency

Nur  mergers & acquisitions
NUR Macroprinters has announced a partnership deal with Australia’s Adkote to market the NUR range of wide-format inkjet production printers and presses locally. Adkote, based in Sydney, will sell the NUR Tempo flatbed inkjet presses, the NUR Fresco series high throughput wide-format inkjet presses and the NUR Ultima HiQ cost-effective wide-format inkjet production printers throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the South Pacific Islands. It also plans to distribute inks, solvents and spare parts for the entire range of NUR Macroprinters equipment.

With headquarters in Sydney and branch offices in Melbourne, NUR believes Adkote is well equipped to support Australian and New Zealand users of NUR Macroprinters` equipment as well as users in other parts of the South Pacific.

Ian Cleary, Adkote general manager, says, "We believe NUR Macroprinters manufactures outstanding equipment with the quickest return-on-investment in the wide-format inkjet production printing segment.

"Adkote’s goal is to bring to the Australian market a mature technology that delivers both production speed and superb image quality at an affordable cost. This is a great opportunity for the Australian and New Zealand print markets - NUR is the leader in quality, reliability, versatility and print performance - the perfect combination."

Amir Kleinstern, NUR Asia Pacific managing director, says, "We at NUR Macroprinters believe strongly in our potential to expand in the Australian market, where we already have a strong user base, and are convinced that our product portfolio is particularly well suited for the specific needs of wide-format print service providers in Australia.

"Our decision to partner with Adkote, a well established player in our market, was taken in order to improve the logistics and technical infrastructure we can provide current users of our equipment and future customers in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific."
