The eighth annual AFTA Forum is set take place at Auckland’s Carlton Hotel next week, with the catchphrase: Flexo – cleaner, safer, smarter. The forum provides attendees the opportunity to learn more about the issues affecting flexo in the modern workplace.

The issues to be covered include addressing environmental and legislative compliance issues; ensuring companies provide a safe work environment for employees and contractors; making sure companies get it right first time through training and process control.

Around 20 speakers will be giving presentations at the forum, talking on topics from employment relations and apprenticeships to INC vs WB and viscosity effects on print, right through to plate, proofing and tape technology and predictions for the future.

The day will be split into four sections: On press; OSHE and HR; prepress; and future outlook.

The day-long forum will be followed by the annual AFTA awards dinner, recognising the best that flexo has to offer.
