Auspack hits the heights

appointments  Auspak
This year’s Auspack is about to open its doors, with some 230 exhibitors including 62 new participants from thirteen countries. Around 7,000 packaging professionals are expected to attend the four day show being held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. The exhibition begins at 10am on Tuesday Oct 30. Organisers claim hundreds of new products are being launched and displayed. Many of these will be included in the New Product Showcase, an area in the show which offers one location to view dozens of new products.

In addition to the equipment booths other Auspack highlights include two free seminars; innovation in food packaging, and boosting your bottom line. Presented by Food Victoria, the seminars, held on Wednesday and Thursday, will highlight manufacturing, design and marketing innovations in food packaging.

The session topics include; Innovation in Food Packaging, Innovation in Food Packaging – Adding to Your Bottom Line, Innovative Food Packaging Machinery Solution, When Innovation Meets Design in Food Packaging, Bio-degradable Plastic – a Sustainable Packaging Solution, Good Packaging and Protecting it Legally.

Auspack runs from Sept 30 to Oct 3.
