Australian pharmaceutical packaging leader Colorpak Packaging is undergoing EAN certification. "All industries, be they pharmaceutical, healthcare, cosmetics, or food need the highest quality levels and that’s why Colorpak is currently undergoing certification with EAN," says Colorpak managing director Alex Commins.Once Colorpak is certified, it will negate the need for Colorpak’s customer to present an EAN verification report to their customer.
"Quite simply, Colorpak will be able to do it on their behalf," Commins says. "Good bar codes, that scan properly the first time, every time, are essential, and they facilitate and ease business between trading partners."
In another major development for family owned company Commins has announced it is shifting its Sydney operation, Hale Foldpack, to a new greenfield site.
"This is as part of our future commitment to the industry segment we dominate. Plans are in progress and we’re currently seeking locations for our scheduled completion date of December 2004. Customers are important as our partners in business," says Commins.
