Derek Fretwell: leaving Kodak NZ from November 28 2006

Kodak has announced with regret the reisgnation of Derek Fretwell, general manager of its Graphic Communications Group New Zealand effective November 28 2006. Fretwell initially established Creo NZ, and in addition to his New Zealand duties served as a director of Creo Australia Proprietary Ltd until the Kodak acquisition of Creo.

Appointed as general manager of GCG New Zealand, he led a very strong sales and support team that took Kodak to the forefront of the New Zealand industry.

Kodak thanked Fretwell for his service and wished him well in his future endeavors.

Steve Green, managing director, Graphic Communications Group ANZ will assume responsibilities for the New Zealand business effective November 29, 2006.

Changes in region for Kodak GCG The Kodak Graphic Communications group has continued to grow successful business across Australia and New Zealand through 2006, with six Nexpress digital Press sales so far this year. Kodak says its CTP sales up are by 33 per cent year on year and consumable sales are growthing very strongly, in particular Digital Plates, most notably Kodak’s Thermal Direct processless plate. These figures have been accompanied by strong sales of Kodak’s Unified Workflow platform and Portal products.		Baldwin completes Oxy-Dry acquisition Global supplier of accessories and controls technology for the printing industry, Baldwin Technology Company, has completed the acquisition of the Oxy-Dry group of companies for approximately US$18m in cash, subject to adjustments.
