Printing Industries will invite the industry to Get Connected during PacPrint – and will feature a range of facilities and services to help achieve this. The theme will feature on Printing Industries stand (1942) and through many of its activities and services. The stand will feature a business centre with fax and e-mail facilities, a lounge area for Printing Industries members and a messaging service.

Get Connected will focus on the environment, local and national industry networks, industry intelligence, knowledge – including industry publications from around the world. The much anticipated Swanbank Paper sponsored industry study will also be released as part of this.

Demonstrations of Rapid Benchmarking, a simplified and customised benchmarking model, will be available on the stand (you can pre-book a personal demonstration). A workshop launch will be held at 2.30pm on Tuesday May 24.

Get Connected globally will feature details of an international conference scheduled for October 26-30 in Sydney in conjunction with Printing Industries NSW Region. The conference will bring together delegates from Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and other Asian regions.

Printing Industries Ipex 2006 tour to Birmingham, England will also be launched.

The value of Printing Industries membership covering everything from employee relations and occupational health and safety to business support programs, representation and networking will be highlighted with managers from each state available to discuss the needs of individual companies.
