Independent Australian chemical company specialising in the development, manufacture and distribution of products for the printing industry, Hurst Australia, has appointed Kel Drewett to the position of NSW state manager, effective immediately. The company says with this appointment it is looking to strengthen support of its current dealers and customers as well as expanding its market presence into new territories.

Drewett’s primary responsibilities will be to manage and develop the operations including sales, consulting, customer support and new business development for Hurst Australia in NSW & ACT.

Drewett brings to the new position more than 25 years specialised experience in both the printing technical and sales sector as a manager and troubleshooter. Hurst says his knowledge of the business coupled with his intimate familiarity with customer needs is a winning combination for the company.

The Australian owned Hurst Group was founded in 1982. Hurst Australia has an exclusive manufacturing agreement with Europe’s largest chemical manufacturer, Germany’s Druck Chemie.
