Toyo Ink Australia has made a valuable addition to its staff with the appointment of Brendan Mangan to the position of national product manager - graphics. Mangan assumes the position of national product manager, after one year working as the company’s account manager and in numerous other roles for other companies before joining Toyo and his appointment is expected to be a significant boost to the company’s graphics division.

In his new role, Mangan will be responsible for the research and development, as well as service and sales support for the company’s product areas, including, printing blankets, pressroom chemistry and flexographic and letterpress plates.

General manager of Print Systems Division Toyo Ink, Alan Naylor, says Mangan’s eighteen years experience in research development and technical service and sales support make him the ideal person for the role as national product manager at Toyo Ink.

“As national manager, graphics, Brendan will ensure that the products we supply to the industry in regards to printing blankets, pressroom chemistry and flexograpic and letter press plates are simply the best in the industry,” he says.

“It’s a two fold benefit for the company,” he adds. “We identified an opportunity to secure someone we consider as an industry expert on these key areas of our business and we created a new role within our company to further align the interests of our customers with the service we provide,” says Naylor.

Furthermore, Naylor says Mangan’s eighteen years experience is expected to bring Toyo customers a higher standard of service.

“It’s as much about the products as it is with the service of these products and Brendan’s appointment is part of what the company has identified as the need to commit further resources to the area of graphic products,” he says.

Mangan will assume his new role immediately and will be based in Toyo’s Sydney offices in Enfield.
