Following a number of requests, the National Print Awards board has extended the deadline for close of entries into this year’s 22nd National Print Awards from January 31 to February 14, giving printers a further week to get their entries in. National Print Awards chairman, Alf Carrigan, says the extension will give printers an opportunity to submit their selection after returning from annual holidays and the Australia Day week.

All gold-medal and sponsored awards winners in the 31 Award categories will be announced at the printing industry’s night of nights, a gala presentation ceremony to be held in Melbourne on May 25 – during PacPrint 05 exhibition week.

In an industry first, the presentation will take place at the Palladium Room at the Crown Casino.

Entries must be submitted no later than February 14, 2005. Any project completed in the period January 1 – December 31, 2004, is eligible.
