Konica Minolta Australia has appointed Frank Mellish to the newly created position of general manager, sales and marketing. Formerly marketing director for the company, in his new role Mellish will be responsible for managing the company’s dealer and direct sales channels, further establishing the Konica Minolta Business Solutions brand in the marketplace, and launching new and innovative products.

He joined Konica Minolta in 2003 and has more than 15 years experience in marketing and promoting technology products and services around the world, with companies such as IBM and CSC.

Konica Minolta Australia managing director Norihiko Oba, congratulated Mellish on his promotion, saying Mellish had proved himself to be a driving force behind managing change and strengthening the company’s brand following the merge which created Konica Minolta.

"Frank is an incredible leader who drives success through motivating and building teams,” says Oba. “Throughout his time at Konica Minolta he has developed our strategic marketing plan and helped us to deliver on key objectives."
