The alliance between Oki Data Americas and EFI has produced two awards from well-respected US-based print industry analyst BERTL.
The C9800 Series colour printer won the coveted 5-Star “Exceptional” Award and the ES3640e MFP received the 4-Star “Highly Recommended” Award. Both product lines expand the customer base of the industry-leading EFI Fiery controller technology, currently at approximately 13 million users, and provide an excellent value to the end-user.

“Through our relationship with EFI, we have developed the ideal digital colour printer to serve the graphic arts community,” said Candice Dobra, Director, Printer Marketing for Oki Data Americas. “It is our goal to provide our customers with the best balance of cost, value and performance in the industry. This printer series offers unparalleled colour printing capability at an unmatched price point, thus bringing professional colour printer technology to the desktop.”

Among numerous remarks made by BERTL in its review of the C9800 Series, the analysts cited benefits resulting from the relationship with EFI. With high-value Fiery server capabilities and performance, “OKI Printing Solutions has set a new benchmark that the competition will do well to match.”

The ES3640e MFP from OKI Printing Solutions was also given high honours from BERTL. Like the C9800 Series, the ES3640e MFP has embedded EFI Fiery technology, which BERTL said, “offers productive print output and extensive job and colour management capabilities… and makes this device a winner.”
