Western Australian print finishing company Prism Grafix has received two Bennys in the 2008 Premier Print Awards. The most prestigious worldwide printing competition recognises outstanding achievement in print production.

Prism Grafix won the highest award the judges can bestow in the competition, for its entry Prism Grafix Calendar 2008 Vintage Series. Prism Grafix won the Bennys in the self promotion and special innovation awards printing categories.

The Premier Print Awards are the printing industry’s oldest and largest worldwide graphic arts competition, hosted by PIA/GATF. Now in its 59th year, the annual contest recognises those responsible for the creation and production of print. The event promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.

Competing against over 4,200 entries from printing and graphic arts firms around the world, the award received by Prism Grafix recognises the top entry in a category based on the number of individuals employed by the entering company. Judging entries in these divisions allows companies to compete head to head with like companies.

Raj Vaswani, managing director of Prism Grafix says, “It is indeed an honour that Prism Grafix has been bestowed with two Benny’s and is testament of the excellent work produced by Prism Grafix’s Team.”

Vaswani adds, “Earlier this year Prism Grafix won the Gold Leaf award for Calendars awarded by the Foiling and Embossing Association of America, which was followed closely by a Product of excellence Gold award by the Binding Industries Association in America.”
