GAMAA will present "Pursuing Business Excellence", the next workshop in its Leadership Programme this May in Melbourne. Workshops are an integral component of the GAMAA Leadership Programme and run as a three-day residential module, each workshop offering a limited number of places for industry professionals seeking to improve their business and management leadership skills. Managers in the printing and graphic media industries wanting to play key leadership roles in the emerging digital products and services environment are the intended audience of the workshop whch will be held May 4-6 at Rydges Riverwalk, Richmond in Melbourne.

GAMAA workshops bring together an exciting blend of academic and industry professionals in a rare and valuable learning environment. This programme will provide participants with a fresh perspective on the leadership and operational skills needed to succeed within the changing context of the graphic media industries. It will present a range of management and leadership models and will provide participants with the ability to integrate these into the workplace.

Participants will also develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between operational issues and business strategy within the framework of the changing context of the graphic media industries.

Developing coaching conversations and applying this to everyday work with teams and in an organisational setting underpins this workshop.

Each GAMAA Workshop is unique. GAMAA works closely with senior academics and business consultants from Australia’s top universities and business schools to develop a rigorous and challenging programme.

The workshop will be brought together through facilitated sessions and exercises that encourage participants to apply the course concepts to their own environment and to develop personal action plans. A key feature of this programme is the unique opportunity to meet people within the wider industry.

The cost of the workshop inclusive of meals and accommodation from Thursday to Saturday lunch-time is
$2900 +GST per participant (transport is not included).
