Registrations are now open for the Heidelberg Women in Print breakfast events, to be held in capital cities throughout the country during April.

Women in Print is a collaboration of women in the print media industry and was established in 2007 to celebrate women in the male dominated industry.

The keynote speaker for 2013 is Carman’s Fine Foods founder Carolyn Creswell. Billed as an inspirational speaker and successful woman in her own right, Cresswell still runs Melbourne-based Carman’s Fine Foods, which wholesales muesli, muesli bars and most recently, a range of snacks for airlines Australia-wide, and 32 countries internationally.

The company came from humble beginnings in 1992 when Carolyn Creswell, at age eighteen, bought the Muesli business. Today, the company is a thriving business, with customers including Qantas, Coles, Woolworths and Lite n’ Easy.

Carmen was named 2012 Australian Telstra Business Women of the Year, and also received the Commonwealth Ban Business Owner Award. She was a finalist in the 2009 InStyle Woman of the Year Award and the 2008 Veuve Clicquot Award. She was also named Ernst & Young’s ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2007.
