Former Junior Printing Executive’s Association (JPE) NSW president Paul Bartolo handed the presidency to Adam Todd, Böttcher Australia northern region manager at last night’s AGM held at Oatlands House in Sydney. Todd’s committee will consist of Kelly Bourke of SOS Printing (vice president), Franca Balsamo of CPI Group (honorary treasurer), and members Rodney Williams of Fuji Xerox Australia, Mathew Gazzard of Spicers Paper, and David Nederhof of JTP Facility Management.

Todd ascends into the leadership position from vice president, taking control for a one year term in accord with the organisation’s constitution. He enters the presidency after what has been a strong and successful
year for JPE.

Bartolo says, "The member base has stayed constant throughout the year, although the last couple of months have seen eight new applications come through. Attendance at our functions this year has averaged out at 47, with our educational evening attracting 75 members and guests.

"Financially, JPE has had a strong year, with a profit being posted. Addressing cost, setting administration fees to a level and the registration for GST have contributed to positive results this year. Due to the closure of the PEA Victoria, a donation of $1500 was received. This has been put into our funds with the aim of donating it back if or when required.

"I wish the incoming president, Adam Todd and his committee, all the best for the year ahead."

Todd says that he is very honoured to be in the position, especially following the hard work that Bartolo and his committee have put in, and says he will endeavour to build on this solid platform.
