Jet Technologies has announced the appointment of Ian Sarney as State Sales Manager for Victoria, meanwhile Chris Cole has filled the role as business development manager - packaging and machinery division.

The company says Sarney has more than 24 years of experience in the narrow web and other niche print markets. Sarney worked for 17 years with pressure sensitive materials with both Jac Australia and Avery Dennison, managed various teams on the converting side of the label industry and more recently with rotary tooling manufacturer Gerhardt.

A statement from Jet Technologies says the appointment will ensure improved local representation as well as timely technical support and service. The company also says the move supports its expansion and service objectives for Victoria

Meanwhile, the company says Chris Cole has had considerable experience in the packaging industry, in recent years Cole has specialised in packaging for thermo-stabilised food products, including pet food and will be involved in our Can Replacement Projects.

Jet Technologies says it is happy to have Cole on board and envisage him being a key team member. Chris' portfolios of agencies include Goglio, Comital, Gerosa, Alupak and San Miguel.
