The Web Offset Association (WOA), a special interest group of PIA/GATF, has issued its Call for Entries for the 2007 WOA Annual Print Awards Competition.
The WOA Annual Print Awards showcases the ’best of the best’ in the web offset print arena. First place winners receive a complimentary registration to the WOA annual conference, one night’s accommodations at the host hotel, a prestigious showcase trophy, a plaque for their customer, and two unique lapel pins. Recipients will be honoured and all winning entries will be prominently displayed during the annual conference, being held April 29 to May 1, 2007 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The entry fee is US$25 per entry for United States and Canadian companies and $100 per entry for international companies. There are no limitations on entry submissions from a company, however a company can win only one award per category.

A new student category launched this year will be open to any student or student group in high school, adult school, vocational school, or college and involved in the creation or production of print communications. In-plant university operations not run by students are ineligible for this category.

The Web Offset Association (WOA), a special industry group of PIA/GATF, is committed to providing a continuous exchange of management and technical information on all matters relating to the web offset printing process, to increase market share for web offset printing and to enhance the value of members in the WOA and PIA/GATF.

PIA/GATF is the world’s largest graphic arts trade association representing an industry with more than 1.2 million employees. It serves the interests of more than 12,000 member companies. PIA/GATF, along with its affiliates, delivers products and services that enhance the growth, efficiency and profitability of its members and the industry through advocacy, education, research, and technical information.
