Darke new marketing manager at DIC Web

Coates  appointments  DIC 
Head: Darke new marketing manager at DIC Web DIC Graphics Australia is delighted to announce a new senior appointment to its web division. Meredith Darke has joined the division as Marketing Manager Web.

Darke comes to DIC with more than 13 years experience in the graphic arts industry, and holds a post-graduate degree in business and management.

Announcing the appointment, Managing Director David Rands said: “This is an exciting time for DIC Graphics. During 2004 and 2005, we have seen strong growth for DIC in the Australian, New Zealand and Asian markets, and our challenge is to continue building quality business operations that service our customers.”

Ian Johns, Web Director commented: “I’m delighted to have Meredith join our team. Our aim at DIC is to ensure continual improvement in planning, strategy and execution – and Meredith brings the right combination of skills to DIC and to marketing the leading brand of Coates web inks. As a market leader in Australia and New Zealand with premium quality products, we look to continually develop our business to enable us to respond quickly to market demands.”

Darke commented: “I am really looking forward to the challenge of this exciting role. My vision is to enhance DIC’s reputation in the market, and to further develop on DIC’s good relations, market credibility and integrity.”

In Australia and New Zealand, worldwide ink supply leader DIC, comprising Coates ANZ and sister companies DIC Colortron and DIC International, has an annual sales turnover in excess of $150m and employs just over 200 people.
