Digital print innovator EFI will kick off its Australasian September road show series in Auckland on Thursday, where it intends to highlight the benefits of workflow integration and automation.

The company says the event will emphasise how integration represents the printing industry’s biggest opportunity for process and profit improvement. Anthony Parnemann, country manager for EFI in Australia and New Zealand, says, “We’ll demonstrate how EFI business solutions can create a seamless flow of information from the customer’s desktop to the production floor and beyond to inventory, invoicing and financial management,” says. “We want to help businesses thrive, not just survive.”

Independent consultant, Mark Campbell, will keynote the event. One of Australia’s leading specialists in workflow improvement and business turnaround, Campbell has worked with some of the largest providers of print and production services in Australasia. He says, “Printers must take a strategic approach to improving their present business model and to developing new markets but successfully implementing change requires planning and an awareness of the pitfalls of introducing new technology.”

EFI provides integrated end-to-end workflow solutions, including web-based job acquisition, print MIS solutions, a high-performance inkjet production RIP, and wide-format digital inkjet output devices. Parnemann adds, “Instead of sourcing from multiple companies it is now possible to work with a single supplier. EFI products such as Digital StoreFront, Fiery controllers, VUTEk wide format printers, Pace MIS and Monarch ERP software, allow companies to streamline their operations from quote through to invoice.”

The road show, also takes in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. EFI has some spaces left, email
