Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group (GCG) has named Michael K. Howard as vice president, marketing, for its Digital Printing Solutions (DPS) business. A veteran of more than 20 years in the industry, Howard will lead all marketing efforts for DPS. He is expected to help Kodak develop and market industry leading solutions to Kodak customers.

Venkat Purushotham, general manager of DPS and vice president of GCG says: “These solutions enable our customers to blend colour and black and white digital printing systems in production grade environments. Kodak and its customers are dramatically expanding the digital printing market with these capabilities.”

Howard has more than 20 years of experience in the computing and printing industries. Before joining Kodak as a senior vice president, he led Danka Business Systems’ Professional Services business unit for three years. He also served as vice president in product marketing and industry management positions at Xerox for seven years.

At Gartner, Inc., he served in a number of senior vice president roles over eight years, including market research management for office and document systems. Howard is a graduate of Princeton University, where he majored in economics.
