Epson  appointments  printing - large format

Epson has appointed Romano Bacci as business manager for its large format printer business.

Epson’s intention, for this appointment, is to make the most of opportunities within its existing businesses, and to assist with the development of new market segments. Craig Heckenberg, head of the business solutions group at Epson says, “Our large format printer business is growing rapidly and with the release of Epson's first durable graphics printer, the Stylus Pro GS6000, for the sign and display markets we are expecting this rapid growth to continue. Romano brings considerable experience and an outstanding record in customer service to this role, and I am sure Epson customers old and new will welcome him."

Bacci joined Epson Singapore in 1998 in the international business division as a sales executive, and managed distribution channels and sales for a range of products across seven countries. In 2005 he moved to the large format printer team as the product manager until moving to Australia this year to take up this new role.

Confident that Bacci’s move will be good for the company, Heckenberg says, "Romano will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our large format printer business for both the Australian and New Zealand territories. He gives our business the necessary experience and knowledge to expand, while still meeting the needs of our professional print customers."

Bacci shares that optimism. He says, "Epson Australia has had great success in the large format market and I am very happy to be leading our large format team when we have so many new and innovative products being launched.”
