Founder and chairman of Omet Srl, Angelo Bartesaghi, has been short listed by the Label Industry Global Awards panel of judges in the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award 2007’ category, which is due to announced at the 2007 FINAT Congress in May. This is a new and prestigious award presented in worldwide recognition of business people who, through the activity of their company, have greatly contributed to the development of the international label industry. The award ceremony panel will be chaired by the legendary label industry guru Mike Fairley.

The nomination points to Angelo Bartesaghi’s commitment to the narrow web label sector, which has seen Omet become recognised worldwide for its global development with machines and products that display innovation, flexibility, cutting edge technology, and ease facility of control.

Omel is represented in Australia by Graph-Pak.
