Voting opens for Label Industry Global Awards 2006

The third Label Industry Global Awards has announced the list of nominees for the prestigious accolades, which recognise and celebrate excellence in the industry. The Awards will be presented in front of an audience of around 500 industry representatives at a high-profile ceremony and gala dinner on the first evening of Labelexpo Americas 2006 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Centre in Chicago.

International judges compiled the shortlist of nominations and voting is now open. A dedicated Awards website, www.labelawards.com allows industry representatives to vote online for each of the four categories.

The website also provides information about previous winners and a history of the awards. The closing date for voting will be at the end of May 2006.

The Label Industry Global Awards has four key categories, with leading label industry players sponsoring each one. This year will see the introduction of the new RFID Smart Label Manufacturer Award, which will recognize the innovations and accomplishments in this exciting area.
