Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H) has cleaned up in the wide web flexo category at the Excellence in Flexography Awards in the US. The German engineering company took out 14 of 27 prizes in the category, with gold in the process uncoated, process metallised, line coated, screen coated and screen paperboard categories. In the process paperboard, process metallised, line coated, line film and screen film categories, print designs produced on W&H presses achieved silver, and bronze was awarded for printed products in process uncoated, process paperboard, screen uncoated and screen film categories.

President of W&H’s US daughter Windmoeller and Hoelscher Corporation, Hans Deamer congratulated their customers on what he described as extraordinary success. “We take pride in having contributed to the excellent print results with our machines,” says Deamer. “The prizes won are impressive proof of the print quality that can be achieved on W&H presses in everyday production.”
