Jet Technologies has completed the acquisition of laminating film supplier PacFilm, from Ferrostaal Australia.
Jack Malki, director of Jet Technologies, says, “We are delighted to have been given this opportunity to add PacFilm’s range of high-quality, competitively priced laminating films to our existing range. Restructuring at Ferrostaal, to focus on core equipment, made this possible and I would like to extend my thanks to Ferrostaal’s management for the professional way in which the change-over has been handled, causing minimal or zero inconvenience to customers.”
Established in 2004 to import and support high quality BOPP, PET, cello-glaze and other laminating films in rolls and pouches, Pacfilm became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ferrostaal in 2009 when founder Crissy Maddocks sold and joined Ferrostaal.
With this latest agreement effective from last Friday, all PacFilm inventories have shipped into Jet Technologies warehouses and responsibility will fall under Jet’s new product manager, print & finishing, Crissy Maddocks who joined Jet Technologies in April.
She says, “It’s great to be reunited with the PacFilm range because I am so familiar with the products and their performance. They fit perfectly with Jet Technologies’ range which includes Durophan scuff resistant laminate, soft touch matte film, Lami-Tack, Samurai, metalised PET and Digi-BOPP, which addresses digital print laminating. With the addition of PacFilm, I believe that Jet Technologies now has Australia and New Zealand’s widest range of hot and cold laminating films, for any application in Sheetfed Offset, Packaging or Digital; all supported by a great technical team.”
