Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific has launched its latest digital full-colour press, the VersantTM 2100 Press aimed at the entry-level production colour market.
The VersantTM 2100 Press prints up to 100ppm at a resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi at up to 10 bits. Fuji Xerox has aimed it squarely at the the commercial print, quick print and in-plant segments, saying that the new printer carries high-end functions, selected from its high-end models.
It prints on substrates including linen, polyester, vinyl magnet and specialty stocks. Other features include low gloss, low melt Emulsion Aggregation (EA) Dry Ink; an inline, integrated full width array, which Fuji Xerox says helps users automate colour control, create image-to-media alignment profiles and deliver brand-managed colour in less time with less waste; and accurate registration technology.
At the front end, operators can choose from three controller options: the EX 2100 and EX-P 2100 Print Server, powered by Fiery; or the Fuji Xerox FreeFlow Print Server. The company says that its Freeflow Core workflow solutions further boosts productivity.
