Meredith Darke, President of the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia (GAMAA) has announced the Association’s representatives for the PrintEx07 Board of Management. The board members are as follows:

Grant Churchill (Chairman) – AE Hudson

Gary Seidl – Dainippon Screen

Mitch Mulligan - Böttcher Australia

Anni Rowland-Campbell (Alternate) – Fuji Xerox Australia

Darke says, “We are very excited at the prospect of delivering another great show for the Sydney market in 2007, and extend our thanks and appreciation to the GAMAA members who have consented to give their time and expertise to bring this show to fruition.”

PrintEx was developed by GAMAA to provide the Sydney market with its own trade event. In 1997 GAMAA conducted a survey amongst its members to canvas the concept of holding another trade show targeted at the printing and graphic arts market.

The results were positive and in January 1998 PrintEx was born. The first show, PrintEx99 was successful as was PrintEx03. It is anticipated PrintEx07 will follow its predecessors and present an unrivalled opportunity for the Sydney printing sector to talk to all the leading suppliers in one place at one time.

PrintEx complements the industry’s major trade event, PacPrint which is held in Melbourne. Both are held every four years providing the industry with a platform on which to demonstrate and display the latest in technology and trends.

PrintEx is a compact event held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, whereas PacPrint has no limits on space size and is held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre. PrintEx07 will be held in May 2007.
