Kudos for Kodak customers at Asian Print Awards

Kodak customers grabbed the limelight during this year’s Asian Print Awards, held Bangkok on November 16. Founded to recognise outstanding achievement in the print and packaging industries across Asia, this year’s competition attracted more than 1700 entries from advertising agencies, printing companies, book binders, advertisers and clients, prepress companies, art and design studios, paper merchants and individuals associated with print production in the Asian region.

Garnering a total of 13 gold medals in the 25 major categories, Kodak customers emerged triumphant in the following areas: posters, showcards, card constructions and mobiles; leaflets, flyers, and folders; post cards and greeting cards; calendars; book printing less than four colours; book printing four or more colours; web offset coated stock; web offset lwc; web offset uncoated stock; embellishment; self promotion; innovation in printing; and colour proofing.

Kodak’s Greater Asia Region managing director Garron Helman says the company is excited with the accomplishment.
“Competition such as this propels us to further improve our existing technologies and match the needs of our customers,” he says.

In addition to the gold medals, Kodak customers also bagged 13 silver and 16 bronze medals, accounting for over 50 per ccent of the all awards presented.
