Pacific Print Group, which has acquired a number of high profile New Zealand print businesses over its relatively short existence, has added another name to its portfolio as of July 1. Brigden & Giles Limited (B & G Print) is the latest to jump on board with the Pacific Print Group operation. The intention, according to Pacific Print Group is to merge the operations of B & G with Albion King & McLay Limited, operating out of Petone.B & G joins a number of established New Zealand printing companies in the Pacific Print Group stable, including Business Printing Group, Printco Graphics, Elite Colour Print and Bays Press in Auckland, along with Wellington firms Bryce Francis Graphics and Albion, King & McLay.
The merging of B & G’s operations with Albion King & McLay is expected to have an impact on the Wellington print landscape. The new amalgamated company will continue to trade as Albion King & McLay Limited under the name Albion Graphics, Pacific Print Group chief executive Warwick Whyte said in a statement to suppliers.
"We look forward to continuing to work with you, a valued supplier, with the assurance that we will always strive to enhance both the relationship between our companies and the value of the business that we do together in the future," Whyte wrote in the statement.
