Fuji Xerox has released its new universal XMPie StoreFlow web-to-print solution, targeted at commercial, digital, quick and franchise printers.

Peter Brittliff, segment marketing manager – software solutions, Fuji Xerox Australia told Australian Printer, “XMPie StoreFlow is a combination of XMPie uStore, and Xerox FreeFlow Connect. XMPie has been developed over the last 12 years and has proven to be a mature, stable platform for marketing portals, and producing variable data print and cross-media campaigns.”

Brittliff says, “StoreFlow is available as an option for all of Fuji Xerox digital presses and printers, however as it supports industry standards of print production – PDF, JDF/JMF it will also support other JDF compliant workflows including offset.”

Fuji Xerox says StoreFlow will enhance the users offerings as their market grows. It says it will improve functionally right through the online storefront creation process, and it automates order acquisition, and generates a JDF job ticket for each order. It uses templates for variable data documents. StoreFlow uses XMPie’s XLIM composition engine and Adobe InDesign with the XMPie uCreate Plug-in for a creative workflow.

Included in the StoreFlow is the XMPie FreeFlow Automation add-on, which allows administrators to use multi-step workflows that automate imposition and add crop marks, colour bars and watermarks, and enable page rotation and insertions.
