Fujifilm Australia has appointed Sturt Eastwood as its new general manager, Graphic Systems and CloudNET. The announcement coincides with the launch of CloudNET – a solutions provider supporting all of its divisions and industry segments.

Dave Marshall, managing director of Fujifilm Australia said Eastwood had extensive expertise in technology, marketing, business development, strategy and executive management.

Marshall says, “Sturt has previously held senior appointments both domestically and internationally which have suitably positioned him for Fujifilm’s expanding Graphic Systems & CloudNET roles.

“Sturt’s appointment will be a huge asset to the Graphic Systems & CloudNET business units, particularly as new directions within the industry continue to emerge.”

CloudNET is Fujifilm’s new solutions focussed business unit which will significantly enhance the resources available to Fujifilm customers in the imaging, graphics and medical industry verticals.

Building on the proven online marketing, applications development and network and storage capabilities developed for the Imaging market, CloudNET will pursue the development and commercialisation of a broader range of industry relevant value-adding service capabilities.

Marshall says, “CloudNET will provide a range of solutions that will help customers grow and better manage their business capabilities and opportunities through the provision of digital asset management services, analogue to digital transition programs, bespoke application integration pay as you go software and online storage solutions.”

He continues, “Sturt, who over the past several months has been instrumental in developing the CloudNET concept and strategy will be taking the CloudNET offerings to market enabling customers to take advantage of Fujifilm’s Cloud-based solutions to help grow their business.”
