Today at this year’s Labelexpo Europe 2003 in Brussels the organiser of Labelexpo announced the launch of new Labelexpo Industry Awards. The Labelexpo Industry Awards, planned to take place annually, will involve three major awards, with a leading labels’ industry player sponsoring each one. The awards will consist of:• The R Stanton Avery Award for Lifetime Achievement, sponsored by Avery Dennison;
• The Innovation and Service Award for Suppliers, sponsored by Labels & Labeling; Label & Narrow Web; and NarroWebTech;
• The Innovation and Service Award for Converters, sponsored by four suppliers.
The inaugural Labelexpo Industry Awards ceremony and gala dinner will take place on Sunday 12 September 2004, at the Donald E Stephens Convention Centre in Rosemont, Illinois, prior to Labelexpo Americas 2004. In 2005 the Awards Ceremony will take place alongside Labelexpo Europe, and the following year alongside Labelexpo in Asia.
