Amcor  appointments 
Amcor has announced the appointment of Louis J. Lachal as managing director of Amcor Australasia, effective immediately. Lachal has been with the Amcor Group for 25 years. Since December 2004, he has been Amcor’s acting chief operating officer and immediately prior to this, was executive general manager, operations for five years.

Darryl Roberts, who has been acting managing director of Amcor Australasia since December 2004, will take up a new, expanded role as group general manager of the Fibre Packaging Group at Amcor Australasia. This function includes
the corrugated boxes, folding cartons and paper operations.
