Australian installations of the Lamtex laminating solutions is approaching the million dollar mark for this year alone, according to local agents DKSH Australia. The first of the latest model from the Lamtex family, the Diamond 102, which debuted at drupa earlier his year, was just installed in the country. Labelled as the powerhouse of the Lamtex fleet, offering 90 metres per minute production with sheet size compatability up to 1020x1020mm, DKSH says this machine offers the latest in automation, guaranteeing the user high output with the highest lamination quality available in its class.Tom Ralph, DKSH national sales and marketing manager for packaging, printing and converting, says, “The Diamond 102 offers pallet in and pallet out production so one operator can easily handle the high speeds and large format sheet sizes. It was sold from drupa and is running well in a Sydney company meeting all its demands and more.”
DKSH has also installed a Lamtex T176 S laminator, which is the Lamtex fleet’s best seller globally. This machine is also a high-output device, and like the Diamond offers pallet in pallet out production with servo motors controlling the transport of the sheets through the machine at over 75 metres per minute.
“The T176 S is a highly robust machine, just like all the Lamtex models, and again offers high out put with low labour requirements due to the use of a fully controllable stacker that supplies the end user a pallet stack of the highest standards,” says Ralph.
“We have now installed another four Emeralds across the country (since drupa) which meet the demands of anyone wanting a quick make ready, high quality result with an entry level budget.”
The Emerald, since its release in 2002, has sold in excess of 40 machines across the world. The Emerald MK2 is now available and already the first model as already arrived in the country and has been installed in Western Australia.
