Sandra Sully, national anchor for Network TEN's Late News from Monday through Friday, will again co-host the National Print Awards
Industry members who still have not decided to attend the prestigious National Print Awards presentation dinner next month have until the end of this week (April 28) to make their decision, with bookings closing on that date, advises National Print Award chairman, Scott Telfer. Bookings for the biggest day on the industry’s calendar are filling fast and organisers are urging those in the industry who have been deferring their arrangements to act now and avoid disappointment.
The National Print Awards presentation dinner, to be compered by Sydney news presenter Sandra Sully, will be held on May 12 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour. The event will feature entertainment by acclaimed impressionist Paul Martell.
All medal winning work will be on display in the foyer before the start of the dinner, giving the industry a first-hand look at who and what excelled in the industry this past year.
As well as gold awards, the presentation will feature sponsors’ awards, including the Paperlinx Award for printing excellence by an apprentice, the Agfa Award for the most innovative use of imaging, and the Heidelberg Australia Award for excellence in craft.
Attendees will receive a complimentary 96-page award book, valued at $35, listing all winners of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. The publication makes a prized annual memento of the industry’s night of the year.
Scott Telfer said “the night is shaping up to be one of the biggest in Sydney for many years and in particular being a Friday night, many people are making it a part of a long weekend in Sydney.”
Prices for tickets are $135 per head and tables of 10 will be allocated in order of booking.
Invitations can be obtained by visiting www.nationalprintawards.com.au and downloading an invitation/registration form.
