The Lithographic Institute of Australia (LIA)’s 17th Biennial Conference, hosted by the Institute’s Victorian Division at the Mercure Hotel in Geelong, commences next Friday. Headlined ‘Industry in Crisis – Implementing Change for Profit’, the three day event will explore both local and international perspectives of where the industry trends are heading, identify the major issues confronting the printing and graphic arts industry today, and demonstrate successful case studies that highlight ‘best practice’ solutions between management, vendors and clients.The line up of speakers includes independent executive educator Dr Jack Goodwin; Stan Solomidis, G Force Business Solutions joint managing director; North American print specialist Robert Rosen; Brett Maishman, Fuji Xerox Australia graphic arts industry marketing manager; business development consultant Dean Mason; and Howard Dare, International Centre of Graphic Technology Collie director.
